We embark on adventures to discover the unknown and make it a part of our story. Ultimately, travel is not just about seeing new places; it’s about the smiles of strangers, the scent permeating the air, the seemingly coincidental encounters with locals and travelers alike that change the course of our entire lives and compel us to explore a new direction.
On the road, we are always looking outward, scanning for danger, assessing risk, absorbing the stunning architecture of our near and ancient past. However, for the astute traveller, the journey is internal.
Travel is a journey of personal growth; it is a freedom which must be earned.
The warm hospitality of complete strangers inviting us into their homes, the infectious smiles of waving children in remote villages, the solitude of riding your motorcycle across vast, barren landscapes, the conviction you cling to as you desperately attempt to cycle to the next village before dark with all your worldly possessions in the panniers of your bicycle…these are the experiences that make us who we are.
If you’ve ever embarked on any kind of adventure travel, you know that you must expect the unexpected. Anything can happen at any moment. You’ve experienced that sense of euphoria where the only sensible thing to do is shout “VICTORY!!!” at the top of your lungs, as well as those low moments when you’re constantly giving yourself a pep talk to save yourself from drowning in your own exhaustion.
There are some things we can never learn at school. We have to experience it ourselves. Travel is a process of unfoldment. With every step we take, we strip down our barriers and realize that more is possible. As we develop our ability to connect with people and adapt to every situation that is thrown at us, we begin to recognize our own infinite potential.

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, get in touch with us. Through our mentorship program, you will learn about:
- Step-by-step planning for a solo adventure across the world by either backpacking or cycling/motorcycling
- The culture, history & language of regions of the world which are still largely undiscovered
- How do you tell the difference between fear mongering hype vs. genuine danger?
- How is understanding geopolitics and macroeconomics actually relevant and helpful when you’re on the road?
- What are the key questions you need to ask yourself before taking a calculated risk in a foreign country?
- Why is sharing and talking with the local people so important, and how can it change your life?
I’ll leave you with this quote to consider:
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
~Steve Jobs
